EStars recently partnered with Elite Sports Academy (Middle East) to deliver a week-long educational esports programme as part of their mid-term camp. This initiative provided young learners with a unique opportunity to engage in esports education alongside traditional sports, marking a significant advancement in integrating both disciplines.
Building Foundations in Esports Learning
Across the week, students took part in daily classroom-based esports learning sessions, completing the first in a series of EStars’ Certificates in Esports. The programme introduced learners to the foundations of the global esports industry, exploring how professional teams operate, the structure of major tournaments, and the spectrum of careers now emerging within this fast-growing sector.
Developing Real-World Skills Through Esports
Through interactive activities, multimedia content and open discussions, participants were encouraged to connect their passion for gaming with essential real-world skills such as teamwork, communication, strategy development and digital literacy. The sessions were designed to complement their physical traditional sport sessions, offering a balanced and engaging learning experience that highlighted both physical and cognitive performance.
Recognising Achievement and Future Pathways
At the end of the programme, each student proudly achieved an official EStars Certificate, representing an early milestone in their digital education journey and offering a glimpse into the exciting future of careers that are available in esports or other STEAM industries in the UAE.
