The Abu Dhabi Awards, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has announced the winners of its nationwide Schools Competition, launched at the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year. The initiative was designed to encourage students to take part in the nominations campaign while promoting the values of goodness, giving and appreciation among younger generations across the UAE.
Encouraging Positive Community Impact
The competition focused on instilling important values in students, including encouraging positive community impact, recognising individuals who serve society and strengthening social responsibility. It also aimed to support the development of critical thinking and decision-making skills, helping to nurture a generation capable of making meaningful contributions to society.
The initiative attracted strong participation from schools and students across all emirates, with 50 schools taking part and more than 15,000 nominations submitted. This marked more than double the number recorded during the previous edition, reflecting growing engagement with the competition’s objectives and vision.
Schools Recognised for Outstanding Participation
Seven schools were recognised for their exceptional commitment and efforts in supporting the campaign and promoting its values among students and the wider school community.
Among the highest participating schools were Rawdat Al Musk, Zayed Educational Complex, Mohammed Bin Zayed City and Juwairiya Bint Al Harith. These schools were acknowledged for promoting the Abu Dhabi Awards’ message and reinforcing the values of goodness and giving within their communities.
Several other schools also demonstrated impressive levels of participation and engagement, including Al Qariah School, City Private School, Al Madar International School and Mezyad School.
Virtual Ceremony Celebrates School Efforts
The seven winning schools were honoured during a special virtual ceremony, where organisers of the Abu Dhabi Awards, alongside the Ministry of Education, praised the extensive work carried out throughout the academic year.
Participating schools organised events, discussion sessions, school radio broadcasts and interactive activities linked to key occasions throughout the year. These efforts contributed to nomination figures exceeding 100 per cent of total student numbers in the recognised schools, demonstrating strong engagement from students, teachers and the wider school community.

The Ministry of Education noted that public schools’ participation in the Abu Dhabi Awards reflects the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening UAE values and identity, while helping students take pride in their heritage and culture inspired by the legacy of past generations.
The initiative forms part of the Abu Dhabi Awards’ continued efforts to promote a culture of giving and recognise inspiring individuals who contribute selflessly to society.
