Horizon English School Town Square, a new British curriculum all-through school set to open in Dubai, has announced two key leadership appointments as it builds its founding team ahead of launch.
The school has appointed Charlotte Grieves as Head of Primary and Lewis Hammill as Head of Secondary, strengthening its academic leadership structure from day one.
Experienced Leadership to Shape a New School Community
The appointments bring together two senior educators with extensive experience across the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, both of whom have held leadership roles in high-performing British curriculum schools.
Their combined expertise is expected to support the development of a coherent all-through learning environment focused on academic excellence, student wellbeing and strong school culture.
Charlotte Grieves Appointed Head of Primary
Charlotte Grieves joins Horizon English School Town Square with more than 20 years of experience in education, including senior leadership roles across leading British curriculum schools in the UAE.
She is currently Head of Prep at Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, part of the Cognita group, where she has contributed to strong inspection outcomes and helped establish a high-performing primary culture.
Her experience includes more than 15 years in the UAE and participation in over ten inspection cycles, with expertise in curriculum design, school improvement and leadership development.

Lewis Hammill Appointed Head of Secondary
Lewis Hammill brings 14 years of experience in education, including a decade in senior leadership roles across the UK and UAE.
He joins from a leading British curriculum school in Dubai, where he served as Deputy Head of Secondary, contributing to sustained academic improvement and high performance outcomes, including GCSE results within the top 1 percent nationally and A Level performance within the top 10 percent internationally.
His expertise includes curriculum development, assessment strategy and leadership capacity building.

Together, the two leaders will oversee the development of a fully aligned primary and secondary experience, ensuring continuity in learning, culture and academic standards.

The new campus will build on the 35-year legacy of Horizon English School, offering a British education within a connected and inclusive community in the Town Square district.
