Part of the renowned Al Futtaim Education Foundation family of schools, Deira International School is operated as a not-for-profit co-educational school for students aged from 3 to 18 years, set on a 175,000 sq metre state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Al Badia, Dubai Festival City. An initiative of the Al Futtaim family, the Al Futtaim Education Foundation (AFEF) was created to support the vision of the Government of Dubai and the KHDA. In 2021, Deira International School was recognized as providing an Outstanding education in its British Schools Overseas Inspection. The team recognized both the ambitions of the school for all students to become âconfident, knowledgeable and intellectually open-minded global citizensâ and the way in which this achieved. They praised both the complex curriculum offering and the consistently outstanding standards of teaching across the school. Deira International School is an established school and is owned and managed by the Al Futtaim Education Foundation. As a result of this the school enjoys exceptional, and rare, facilities across all age groups. However, the school continues to invest in the experience for students â most recently with the development of an IB Hub for our most senior students as well as the redesign of much of the spaces in the primary school.
