Kaspersky has announced the launch of its new Cybersecurity Center at KidZania Dubai, creating an interactive learning space designed to educate children about digital safety and cybersecurity awareness.
Located at Dubai Mall, the new centre introduces a role-play experience where children can act as cyber investigators while learning how to identify and protect themselves from cyberthreats. The initiative aims to help young people build safe online habits and develop digital awareness from an early age.
Growing Importance of Digital Safety
As children increasingly engage with technology at younger ages, digital safety has become a growing concern for families across the UAE. At the same time, technology continues to influence future career aspirations among young people.
According to a Kaspersky survey, 89 per cent of parents in the United Arab Emirates believe their children could become IT specialists, with the technology sector emerging as the most popular future career path.
Andrey Sidenko highlighted the importance of cybersecurity education for children.

Children today are growing up surrounded by technology, and their online experiences begin earlier than ever before. It is crucial that we equip the younger generation with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate it safely, with a strong focus on cybersecurity awareness, so they can confidently recognize risks, protect themselves, and build responsible online habits from an early age.”

Hands-On Learning Through Digital Missions
The Kaspersky Cybersecurity Centre offers children an engaging learning experience through simulations, digital missions and interactive challenges. Participants learn how to identify online threats, practise safe browsing and respond to realistic cybersecurity scenarios.
The activity has been designed to encourage critical thinking, responsible online behaviour and digital awareness in a fun and immersive environment. Children visiting the centre take on the role of cyber detectives, investigating digital clues and solving cybersecurity cases.

Expanding a Global Cybersecurity Education Initiative
The Dubai launch builds on the wider global collaboration between Kaspersky and KidZania. The partnership first introduced a Cyber Investigation Centre at KidZania Santa Fe in Mexico City in March 2025 before expanding into India with additional centres in April 2026.
The newly launched Cybersecurity Center in Dubai continues the initiative’s international expansion and aims to educate thousands of children annually about evolving cyber challenges while helping them become responsible and proactive digital users.
