Horizon International School (HIS) is celebrating a year of remarkable academic growth for its Class of 2024-25, highlighting exceptional Value-Added performance, a 100% pass rate, and more than half of students achieving top grades. HIS places significant focus on Value-Added performance – a measure of academic progress from a student’s starting point. This year’s A-Level students exceeded expectations by an average of +1 grade across all subjects.
Notable Achievements Include
- English Literature – +1.12 grades above expected outcomes
- Biology – +0.8 grades above expected outcomes
- Chemistry – +0.75 grades above expected outcomes
- Geography and Business – +2 grades above expected outcomes
- Media – +1 grade above expected outcomes
In addition to these gains, 54% of students achieved A-B grades across all subjects*, with 50% of long-tenure students securing A*-B in two or more subjects. Many graduates will now progress to their first-choice universities to study competitive courses that align with their passions and strengths.
