A new international academic pathway has been announced between Canadian University Dubai and University of New Brunswick, offering students the opportunity to begin their studies in the UAE and complete their degree in Canada.
Overview of the 2+2 Pathway Programme
The newly introduced 2+2 Bachelor of Health Pathway will allow students enrolled in Canadian University Dubai’s Bachelor of Science in Public Health to complete their first two years in Dubai before transferring to the University of New Brunswick’s School of Integrated Health for the remaining two years.
The agreement was formally signed in late November at UNB’s Saint John campus, further strengthening a partnership that has existed for more than 20 years. This marks the seventh active pathway agreement between the two institutions.

Specialisation Options for Students
Through this structured pathway, eligible students will be able to choose from three specialised streams within UNB’s Bachelor of Health programme:
• Management and Health
• Biomedical and Health
• Society and Health
These options are closely aligned with Canadian University Dubai’s focus areas in Environmental Health Management and Health Administration, helping to ensure a smooth academic transition.
