A Decade of Dedication and Continuing to Spread Awareness and Support
Come October, the ‘Pinktober’ month, Breast Cancer Awareness month and everyone thinks Pink, the colour related to femininity. The world is bathed in a sea of pink, symbolising the fight against Breast Cancer. North Point Education (NPE) Schools, take pride in continuing their decade-long legacy of spreading awareness and support for this life-changing disease. The three schools, under NPE, The Royal Academy, The Bloomington Academy, and The Hope English School, came together earlier in October, to raise awareness about Breast Cancer, which affects millions worldwide.
Bound with a legacy of support dating back to 2012, NPE has been at the forefront of Breast Cancer awareness, inspiring a new generation of champions to join the fight. For over a decade, and still going strong, NPE schools have consistently organised events, programmes, and activities to spread awareness, promote early detection, and support those affected by this disease. Their commitment to community engagement has been steadfast, and this year, being the Year of Community, NPE plans to loop in as many communities as possible, including hospitals and healthcare centers, to join hands in the fight against Breast Cancer.

Partnerships that Strengthen Support
NPE was honoured to have had partnered with Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), an external agency that shares our vision of creating a supportive community for those affected by cancer. Together, they organised a Breast Cancer Awareness marathon, which saw enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and the community. This partnership has been evidence of the power of collaboration in making a difference.
“The power of collective support can bring comfort, courage and real change.”

Pink Across Every Campus
Throughout October, the NPE schools were once again decked in pink, with students and staff in pink attire to show their support for Breast Cancer awareness. The students, from KG to Senior Secondary, participated in various activities, including marathons, assemblies, poster-making, awareness sessions and much more, as has been the practice from the time they had committed their support for this noble cause. Hearts filled with compassion; the secondary girls also donate ‘Locks of Hope’ to bring smiles on the faces of cancer patients. The Departments of Inclusion and Psychology were an integral part in creating joy-filled treasures, from attractive paintings to gentle face masks, to brighten the days of young cancer warriors. A beautiful gesture of empathy and kindness!
These activities aim to spread the message of Breast Cancer awareness and promote early detection. Their students have always been at the forefront of this awareness campaign, using their creativity and compassion to spread the message of hope and resilience.

They have had the privilege of hosting renowned Gynaecologists from various Medical Centres in Ajman leading enlightening sessions on Breast Cancer awareness for the students and staff. These sessions highlighted the importance of early detection, self-awareness, and screenings in combating the disease.
“We care for our loved ones by caring for our own health.”
All three NPE schools have come together to create a community that supports and empowers each other. From the KG students sending out messages of love, yes, “Take care of yourself, Mommy” “We need you” “The whole family needs you” with all the kiddies in pink, to the senior students organising marathons and awareness programs, they have shown that together, they can make a difference.

A Message from the CEO
As put forward by our CEO, Ms. Sandra Blaskovic, “At NPE Schools, we remain steadfast in our commitment to Breast Cancer awareness and support. Hope for the Future
NPE Schools, envision a future where Breast Cancer is no longer a threat to humanity with the belief that by working together, a difference can be made creating a world where everyone can live a healthy and fulfilling life.
