The World’s Largest AI and Tech Event Returns to Dubai

The landmark 45th edition of GITEX GLOBAL 2025 brings together the world’s most advanced AI and technology enterprises, uniting leaders from 180 countries at Dubai World Trade Centre from 13 to 17 October.

Running in parallel, Expand North Star celebrates its 10th edition from 12 to 15 October at Dubai Harbour, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

AI Driving Innovation Across Future-Critical Industries

As artificial intelligence capabilities advance, their potential to solve complex global challenges is expanding rapidly, from curing genetic diseases to enabling green data centres.

GITEX GLOBAL 2025 highlights developments across biotech, physical AI, quantum computing, semiconductors and data centres. Over 6,800 enterprises and 2,000 startups will participate, including global names such as Alibaba Cloud, AMD, AWS, Dell, e&, G42, Google, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Siemens and Snowflake.

New innovations will debut from Cerebras, Datadog, Mitsubishi, Qualcomm, Rittal, ServiceNow, Tata Electronics, Telecom Italia and Tenstorrent.

Global Startup and Investor Ecosystem at Expand North Star

Expand North Star connects 2,000 of the world’s most promising startups with more than 1,200 investors managing US$1.1 trillion in assets. The event reinforces Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for tech entrepreneurship and innovation.

Record International Participation

This year marks record participation from emerging tech economies. Brazil joins as Country Partner with its largest-ever tech delegation, alongside Serbia, Pakistan and new pavilions from Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Spain and TĂĽrkiye.

Super Data Centres – The AI Factories of the Future

With global data centre investments expected to exceed US$500 billion in 2025, GITEX GLOBAL will welcome O’Leary Ventures, a major investor building the world’s largest AI data centre industrial park in Canada.

Paul Palandjian, CEO of O’Leary Ventures, said that the UAE’s leadership vision and resources make it a global crossroads for AI development.

Hassan Alnaqbi, CEO of Khazna, will lead discussions on scaling infrastructure, energy and policy to meet the demands of giga data centres.

Biotech and Digi Health – The Next Frontiers of Medicine

Breakthroughs in gene editing, AI-led drug discovery and precision medicine are transforming the biotech industry. At GITEX GLOBAL, Trevor Martin of Mammoth Biosciences will discuss how AI is enabling CRISPR technology to potentially cure genetic diseases.

Quantum Readiness at GITEX Quantum Expo (GQX)

IBM will reveal its Quantum System Two, marking a step towards fault-tolerant quantum computing. Shukri Eid of IBM Gulf noted that GITEX GLOBAL is a platform for collaboration among policymakers, business leaders and innovators driving AI forward.

PsiQuantum Co-Founder Professor Mark Thompson will discuss progress towards quantum sovereignty, joined by IONQ, the first publicly traded pure-play quantum computing company.

AI Semiconductors Powering the Next Generation of Sovereign AI

AMD will present its latest Instinct GPUs and EPYC CPUs built for high-performance AI workloads. Jim Keller, CEO of Tenstorrent, will address how semiconductors are becoming crucial for sovereign AI capabilities and national innovation.

More than 40 unicorns will participate at Expand North Star. Highlights include Cerebras showcasing the world’s largest AI supercomputer built with G42, Fluidstack’s 1GW decarbonised AI supercomputer and Xpanceo’s AI-powered smart contact lenses for augmented reality and healthcare.
