Green Grass Nursery Summer Camp Gives Young Children a Head Start Through Play

The Green Grass Nursery Summer Camp aims to answer that question by combining structured early years learning with creative, play-based experiences. Running from 13 July to 21 August, the programme is designed for children aged one to six years and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum while introducing children to cultures from around the world.

For parents preparing children for nursery or school, the programme also includes a dedicated school readiness element to help young learners settle confidently into September.

Children will enjoy a wide range of exciting activities including arts and crafts, messy play, water play, science experiments, cooking, music and movement, outdoor play, sensory activities, storytelling, games, role play, and many more hands-on experiences that encourage learning through play. Every activity is linked to our weekly country theme, allowing children to explore different cultures in fun and meaningful ways.

More than just a holiday programme, every week is thoughtfully planned around the EYFS curriculum, allowing children to explore different countries and cultures through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Each week introduces children to a new part of the world through creative, hands-on experiences.

Week 1 (13 to 17 July): Our Home. UAE and Arab World
Week 2 (20 to 24 July): Asia Adventure. India, China, Japan and South East Asia
Week 3 (27 to 31 July): Africa Explorer. East, West and North Africa
Week 4 (3 to 7 August): Europe and Beyond. Europe and Australia
Week 5 (10 to 14 August): The Americas. North, Central and South America
Week 6 (17 to 21 August): World Celebration. Dubai, Where Worlds Meet

Children will discover different cultures, traditions, languages, food, music, art, famous landmarks and celebrations while learning through play.

Absolutely. Every week is built around a different country or region of the world, with themed crafts, cooking, music, dance, science, sensory play, storytelling, games, and cultural experiences.

In addition, every Monday, we are delighted to welcome the Kiddi Gym team, who will deliver exciting sessions in Gymnastics, Ball Skills, Music and Movement, Karate, and Zumba, helping children develop their physical skills, coordination, confidence, and teamwork while having lots of fun.
