Keeping children entertained during Dubai’s summer months often means searching for indoor activities that are engaging, educational and suitable for all ages. This year, Arabian Center is bringing together a variety of family experiences that combine creative play, live entertainment, wellbeing and exciting prize opportunities throughout the school holidays.
Running until the end of August, the Arabian Center summer programme offers parents a convenient way to enjoy quality family time while giving children opportunities to learn, play and explore in a comfortable indoor setting.
Arabian Center Summer Welcomes Cocomelon’s JJ and Cody
For younger children, one of the biggest attractions this summer is the arrival of Cocomelon’s favourite characters, JJ and Cody.
Families visiting the centre can enjoy surprise appearances throughout the mall, alongside dedicated meet and greet sessions where children can take photographs with the popular characters.
The appearances run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 2 August 2026, with five sessions taking place each evening from 5.00 pm onwards.
These experiences offer young children memorable moments while encouraging family outings during the school holidays.
Creative Activities Keep Children Engaged
Beyond the character appearances, Arabian Center has created a dedicated summer activity zone designed to encourage creativity and imaginative play.
Located at Entrance B, children can take part in slime making, storytelling sessions, face painting and arts and crafts every day until 2 August 2026.
Importantly, these hands-on activities provide opportunities for children to develop creativity, communication and fine motor skills while enjoying screen-free entertainment.
For parents, the activity zone offers an easy way to keep children occupied during summer visits to the centre.
Dubai Summer Surprises Comes to Arabian Center
Meanwhile, Arabian Center is also participating in Dubai Summer Surprises, giving shoppers the opportunity to enter a digital raffle draw with every qualifying purchase.
Running until 29 August 2026, the promotion offers visitors the chance to win one of 10 Exceed LX vehicles, adding an extra incentive for families already planning summer shopping trips.
In addition, visitors can capture seasonal memories with a colourful Modhesh and Dana photo installation located in the food court, celebrating two of Dubai’s best-known summer mascots.
A Focus on Family Wellbeing
Entertainment is only part of this year’s programme.
On 25 July 2026, Arabian Center will partner with the Dubai Health Authority to host a community wellbeing event offering free health checks and expert advice from DHA doctors.
For parents, this provides a valuable opportunity to access health information while enjoying a family day out.
Community health initiatives like this also reflect the growing focus across the UAE on preventative healthcare and family wellbeing.
Why Family Experiences Matter During the Summer
The long summer break provides families with opportunities to spend more time together outside school routines.
Activities that combine entertainment with creativity and community engagement can help children remain socially active while creating positive shared experiences with parents and siblings.
Whether children are meeting favourite characters, taking part in arts and crafts or simply enjoying time together, these experiences contribute to confidence, creativity and stronger family connections.
As Dubai’s indoor destinations continue to expand their summer programmes, Arabian Center offers families a practical and enjoyable option for making the most of the school holidays while staying cool indoors.
