Zaki Design Group’s ZAKS Uniforms, in association with SMITH Kids, has partnered with Centres for Health and Education Programmes Kenya to provide meals to children in need.
With a strong legacy of over 30 years, ZAKS Uniforms has established itself as a trusted name in delivering high quality school uniforms and essentials. Through this initiative, the brand goes beyond functionality, embedding purpose into every purchase and transforming everyday back to school shopping into an opportunity to give back.

How the Initiative Works
At the core of the campaign is a simple yet impactful mechanism. For every SMITHS Kids range product purchased, including lunch boxes, lunch bags, water bottles and everyday essentials, a meal will be provided to a child in need through CHEPs Kenya.

Designed to support students’ daily routines, SMITHS Kids products now extend their impact beyond convenience, helping nourish children and support their ability to learn and thrive.
Leadership Perspectives
“At ZAKS, we believe that small actions can create lasting change. With every Smith Kids accessory purchased, our customers are contributing to a child’s future and supporting a larger purpose.”
Zaki Ali, Design Director/Managing Partner, Zaki Design Group

“Partnerships like this are essential in expanding our reach and deepening our impact. Through our collaboration with ZAKS Uniforms, we are able to provide consistent, nutritious meals to children who need them most, while supporting their health and educational journey. This initiative is a meaningful step toward building stronger, more resilient communities.”
Dr. Muhsin Sheriff, CEO of CHEPS Kenya
Supporting Communities Through Everyday Purchases
SMITHS Kids products are available exclusively at ZAKS Uniforms across the GCC, inviting customers to make purchases that go beyond the product, supporting a purpose and creating tangible impact with every transaction.

The partnership ensures that contributions are effectively channelled into programmes focused on children’s health, nutrition, and education across underserved communities in Kenya.
