Cognita Middle East has launched a new initiative in partnership with Power Club, designed to connect students across the UAE with leading global industry experts through real world learning experiences.
Expanding Future Focused Online Learning
The programme forms part of Cognita Middle East’s enhanced online learning offering and is aimed at students in Years 6 to 9. It combines digital learning with hands on, interdisciplinary challenges that encourage students to explore real world problems and develop practical solutions.
Hundreds of students across Cognita’s UAE schools are already participating, reflecting the group’s continued focus on delivering high quality, future focused education.

Structured Expert Led Challenges
The initiative is built around a series of ongoing challenges led by industry experts. Each challenge follows a structured format, including a launch session, a check in and a final submission, all delivered through a dedicated platform that tracks student progress.
Students work independently or collaboratively to develop ideas, applying creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills to real world scenarios.

Engagement with Global Organisations
In its first week, students explored key sectors such as animation, game design, entrepreneurship and automobile engineering. These challenges were developed in collaboration with professionals from leading global organisations including NASA, Framestore, EA Games and Tesla.
Supported by expert masterclasses and a structured, evidence based approach, students deepen their understanding of specific topics while transforming ideas into meaningful projects.
Leadership Perspective
Glen Radojkovich, Managing Director, Cognita, UAE, said: “Across our Cognita UAE schools and through our partnership with Power Club, we are elevating online learning through meaningful, real-world projects, enriched by guidance from industry experts, and enhanced by research-driven approaches shaped by our global educational expertise. These interdisciplinary experiences are designed to elevate both the quality and impact of students’ learning, enabling them to deepen their inquiry, creativity and curiosity, and thrive.”

Student Experience and Skill Development
As part of the initiative, selected student work will be shared directly with industry experts for feedback, providing valuable insight into professional practices. Students also build transferable skills, explore personal interests and develop project work that contributes to their growing portfolios.
Reflecting on his experience, Justin, a Year 9 student at Repton Dubai, said: “It went really well! Since using the AI simulation to review my design, it has really helped me to see my mistakes and improve my steering wheel design.”

Supporting Continuous Learning in the UAE
By combining digital learning with applied experiences, Cognita is enabling students to apply their knowledge beyond the classroom. The initiative builds on the group’s Learning Continuity and Connection Programme and aligns with the UAE’s strong digital infrastructure, ensuring students remain engaged during structured online learning periods.
