Nine-year-old Zayn Ali Salman has already achieved what many can only dream of. First scouted by Arsenal FC Academy at the age of four, Zayn’s passion and dedication to football have only grown stronger. At eight, Zayn signed a three-year contract with Nike to become the youngest member of the Nike family, marking a major milestone in his budding career. He regularly features on popular football YouTube channels such as SV2 and recently filmed with global entertainer KSI in London. Zayn participates in elite European tournaments, playing against top young talent, and trains with the shadow squad of Arsenal to further hone his skills. In Dubai, he plays for Cognita Enrich ME, inspiring other young athletes, while RGS Guildford Dubai provides a personalised timetable to balance studies and sporting ambitions. Zayn says,

“Football is everything to me. I want to keep working hard every day so that one day I can play professionally. My school helps me stay focused on both football and learning, it means a lot.”

At twelve years old, Zahra Salman has also made a name for herself as a talented and determined footballer. She has been signed to Nike as a MENA Football Athlete and called up by both the U15 Iraqi team and the UAE national team. Zahra trains with the Under-15 boys Cognita Enrich ME team and is known for her blistering pace and skill as a left-wing midfielder.

Zahra’s achievements extend beyond the pitch. She has been scouted by Chelsea FC and other London football clubs. She was recently awarded Cognita Enrich ME’s Sports Personality of the Year and named an RGSGD Girls’ Sports Ambassador for her leadership and commitment to encouraging other young girls to play football. Zahra said,

“I love proving that girls can play just as well as boys. Playing for the UAE is such an honour, and I want to keep improving. My school’s support helps me manage training, travel, and my studies – it really makes a difference.”
