Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai has announced a strategic partnership with The Els Club, creating new opportunities for pupils to develop sporting excellence, explore potential career pathways and experience the professional world of golf first-hand.
The collaboration provides pupils with unrivalled access to golf clinics, Talent Identification Mornings, the Junior Development Programme and real-world work experience placements with professionals at The Els Club.
Professional Coaching and Golf Clinics
Through the partnership, pupils will benefit from a series of golf clinics hosted both at the school and on-site at The Els Club. These sessions will be delivered by CH3 Golf Professionals, bringing extensive experience and expertise from the highest levels of the sport. In addition, Golf Tour Professionals from The Els Club will visit the school each year to host a specialist golf clinic, offering pupils the opportunity to learn directly from athletes who have competed at elite levels.
Talent Identification and Junior Development
Each academic term, The Els Club’s professional team will host at least one Talent Identification Morning at Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai. Pupils who demonstrate exceptional skill and enthusiasm will be invited to join the Junior Development Programme. This programme offers structured coaching and the opportunity to train in a professional environment, supporting young golfers in developing their technical ability and confidence on the course.
Career Pathways and Work Experience
Selected pupils will have the opportunity to undertake work experience placements at The Els Club, gaining valuable insight into careers across the sporting, hospitality and leisure sectors. The partnership also includes a Pathway to Excellence Programme, developed jointly through the school’s Friday morning pupil sessions. This initiative is designed to support pupils in reaching their full potential both on and off the course.
