Dubai, UAE: Building on the strong legacy of more than two decades, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus (BPDC) has now launched their significantly redesigned and strategically modified MBA programme for fresh graduates, entrepreneurs and working professionals from all streams and all disciplines. In order to cater to the growing demand, to bring diversity and encourage discussions amongst students with different educational background, BPDC has modified the eligibility criteria to open up the programme for non-engineering students as well. Now a student with any bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall aggregate of 60% can apply for the admission to the MBA programme.
The renewed and redesigned Programme offers in-demand courses like Business Analytics, Systems &Sustainability, Critical& Design Thinking, Decision Making, and Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship as core management courses with specialized electives such as E-Business & Internet Marketing, Supply Chain Analytics, etc. with a focus on real world industry practices and challenges. The courses are revamped to accommodate changing industry demands and to train young leaders to conquer in this new age of disruption. The two year MBA is divided in three semesters of holistic classroom training coupled with one semester of industry exposure through a structured and evaluative internship (Practice School) making this programme one of its kind.The purpose of Practice School is to offer corporate exposure to the students and make them industry orientated even before they step-out of the Institute. The students interested in pursuing higher degrees can opt for Dissertation instead of Practice school. The best feature of our MBA programme is that the lectures and exams are scheduled during evenings and weekends to avoid any disturbance in office-work schedule of working professionals. Such flexibility in class timings benefits fresh graduates too, for they can start their internships in companies they dream to work with. The in-campus hostel facilities with single occupancy rooms are also available.
