by Eddie Rayner

Global Schools Foundation (GSF), an international network of award-winning schools, has always been at the forefront to create the brightest global students. Global Indian International School (GIIS), Dubai under the aegis of GSF introduced the interactive robot on the campus recently.

The robot at GIIS, Dubai has been launched, keeping technologically advanced education at the forefront. The robot will engage with the visitors through an AI speech assistant, respond to any queries that they may have and take them on an autonomous guided tour of the campus. The launch of the robot on the campus promises to provide an immersive AI-enabled experience for the students.

Siju Philip, Deputy Manager of Global Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GCIE), GIIS Dubai stated, “AI Robotics education is vital for a 21st-century learner to upscale problem-solving skills along with fostering creativity and innovation. We will be introducing more opportunities in our AI Robotics projects with our Robotics-Innovation-STREAM-Exploration (RISE) curriculum at GIIS Dubai campus for grades 1 to 11 with live demonstrations of AI usage for the learning, research and development projects for students.”

GIIS, Dubai will be introducing STEM Robotics in classrooms with the support of an indigenously designed easy-to-use platform. The platform offers students a means to execute their programming skills and enables them for future-oriented technological knowledge.

“Besides learning engineering and computer science concepts, students participating in robotics activities develop creativity, teamwork, designing and problem solving of students. We at GIIS Dubai are proud to be imparting future-focused technological knowledge among students through the launch of robots in the campus,” stated Antony Koshy, Principal, GIIS Dubai.
