Brighton College Al Ain pupils are celebrating yet another year of academic excellence, achieving the highest percentage of Grade 9s in the College’s history. This year marks a milestone achievement, with almost 40% of all exam entries awarded the top Grade 9, making it the most common result across the cohort.
Record GCSE Results at Brighton College Al Ain
The 2025 GCSE results are reinforcing the College’s reputation for academic excellence:
- Almost 40% of entries achieved Grade 9, the highest in the College’s history
- 53% of exams were awarded Grades 9–8
- 65% of results were Grades 9–7, equivalent to the former A*–A grades
- The College’s value-added score of +0.4 highlights that pupils are, on average, achieving almost half a grade higher than internationally benchmarked expectations
Subject Excellence

- Spanish: 80% of pupils achieved a Grade 9
- English: 68% achieved a Grade 9
- Biology: 68% achieved a Grade 9
- Chemistry: 50% of pupils achieved a Grade 9
