North Point Education (NPE), home to The Royal Academy (Indian CBSE curriculum) and The Bloomington Academy (British curriculum), has reopened the academic year with a strong focus on safety and student well-being. Both schools, serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, are dedicated to academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement.

While The Royal Academy resumed Term 1 after the summer break, The Bloomington Academy welcomed students to a new academic year 2025–26. To mark the reopening, both schools rolled out a comprehensive Road Safety Awareness programme in partnership with the Ajman Traffic Department. The initiative aimed to teach students the importance of safe behaviour on the roads and encourage responsible habits as young road users.

Interactive Road Safety Sessions

The programme featured engaging sessions delivered by Captain Hamdan Al Raisi, Director of the Awareness Branch, First Assistant Youssef Al Hammadi, and Civilian Mohammed Salem Al Shamsi. Covering all student levels from Kindergarten to Grade 12, the sessions highlighted the School Patrol initiative, which was launched under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.

Students responded enthusiastically to the sessions, enjoying practical demonstrations and informative discussions. Younger learners received specially designed booklets to reinforce safe habits, while trainers were honoured with Appreciation Certificates for their valuable contributions.

School Leaders Emphasise Commitment to Student Safety

“This Road Safety Awareness programme is a significant step towards equipping our students with essential life skills and promoting a culture of safety in our community,” said Hussaina Begum, Principal of The Bloomington Academy.

Echoing this commitment, Dr Prema Muralidhar, Principal of The Royal Academy, added, “We are truly committed in every way to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students.”

A Safe and Inspiring School Year Ahead

Through this initiative, NPE schools reinforced their commitment to student safety, well-being, and academic excellence. The Road Safety Awareness programme reflects their broader mission to empower students to become confident, compassionate, and responsible global citizens.
