Families looking for new indoor activities in Dubai have a fresh option this summer, as Zamania by Leo & Loona opens at Ibn Battuta Mall. Designed with pre-teens, teenagers and families in mind, the new venue combines physical challenges, interactive gaming and imaginative play in one shared space.
Unlike many traditional indoor play centres, Zamania focuses on keeping older children engaged while still offering age-appropriate experiences for younger siblings. As a result, it creates a destination where the whole family can spend time together.
Zamania by Leo & Loona Brings Sportainment to Dubai
Located in the China Court at Ibn Battuta Mall, Zamania by Leo & Loona introduces the concept of sportainment, combining physical activity with interactive entertainment.

Already operating more than 20 locations across Europe and expanding across the GCC, the venue has been designed as a colourful manga-inspired world where visitors can stay active while enjoying friendly competition.
Instead of conventional play equipment, families will find obstacle courses, giant slides, interactive gaming experiences and immersive attractions that encourage movement, teamwork and confidence.
For parents, the venue offers an alternative to screen-based entertainment by encouraging children to stay physically active while having fun with friends and family.
Activities for Toddlers, Children and Teenagers
One of Zamania’s biggest strengths is its appeal across different age groups.
Older children and teenagers can test themselves on a double-level Ninja Warrior Course with a zipline, climbing walls, trampoline challenges and reaction games. Meanwhile, racing simulators, Mario Kart machines, basketball games, penalty kick simulators, tabletop football and air blasters provide plenty of opportunities for friendly competition.

Younger visitors are equally well catered for. A dedicated toddler zone includes soft play, sensory activities and imaginative experiences designed specifically for early years children.
Consequently, families with children of different ages can enjoy a day out together without anyone feeling left out.
A Space Designed for Families to Spend Time Together
Beyond the attractions, the venue also features an 80-seat café serving burgers, pizzas, snacks and healthier options.
Whether parents are taking a break while younger children play or teenagers are catching up with friends after completing the challenges, the café forms part of the overall experience rather than simply being a place to eat.
Speaking about the launch, Elizaveta Rossiiskaia, who leads Zamania’s expansion across the GCC said,
“When Zamania was coming to the region, it was never meant to be just another playground. Over the years I had seen how children’s needs shift as they grow, and how few places let a toddler, a pre-teen and a teenager each find something real under one roof. What matters to me most is what Zamania gives older children and teenagers: not a place that asks them to prove themselves, but one where they can simply be – active, side by side with friends, and quietly certain that they are already enough, exactly as they are today. That’s what this generation needs – and what I’m proud to bring to the families we serve.”
She further adds,
“When selecting our first location in Dubai, Ibn Battuta Mall was a natural fit. As one of the city’s leading family destinations, it offers the ideal environment for a concept designed to bring different generations together.”

A Family Day Out That Appeals to All Ages
Finding activities that appeal to children across a wide age range can be challenging. While many venues focus on younger children, older siblings often have fewer spaces designed around their interests.
Zamania by Leo & Loona aims to fill that gap by combining active play, gaming and social experiences in one destination. Ultimately, it gives families another option for spending quality time together while encouraging children to stay active, build confidence and enjoy healthy competition.

The venue is now open at Ibn Battuta Mall, inviting families to explore obstacle courses, gaming challenges and immersive attractions under one roof.
