Arcadia Global School, a British curriculum school managed and operated by Arcadia Education in the UAE, has marked a major milestone with the official opening of its Secondary School building and a new state-of-the-art auditorium, following an AED 200 million investment in purpose-built educational facilities.
The inauguration represents a significant step in the school’s long-term vision to provide future-focused education supported by world-class infrastructure that nurtures academic excellence, creativity and wellbeing.
Official Inauguration and Distinguished Guests
The milestone was commemorated with an official inauguration by Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority. The ceremony was attended by VIP guests including Mr Mohan Valrani, Chairman and Founder of Arcadia Education, Dr Navin Valrani, Chief Executive Officer of Arcadia Education, parents, students and members of the school community.
The celebrations followed an inspiring keynote session by internationally acclaimed motivational speaker Nick Santonastasso, whose visit formed part of the school’s commitment to holistic education and character development.
A Purpose-Built Secondary School Environment
The newly opened Secondary School building has been designed to support lifelong learning through specialist spaces that encourage exploration, collaboration and innovation. Guests were invited to tour the facility, which includes science laboratories, design and technology labs, a gym, food technology lab and multipurpose halls.

Inspiring Students Through Resilience and Mindset
Globally recognised speaker, athlete and author Nick Santonastasso addressed students from Years 5 to 9, alongside staff and parents. Born with Hanhart syndrome, Santonastasso shared his personal journey of overcoming adversity to become a leading advocate for resilience, determination and inclusive leadership.
His interactive session encouraged students to reflect on mindset, courage and motivation when facing challenges. The event formed part of Arcadia Global School’s Posana Wellbeing Programme and its Maslow Before We Bloom approach, which places emotional wellbeing, purpose and resilience at the heart of student development.

“Nick’s story embodies determination, optimism, and compassion—values we work hard to instil in every AGS student. I first heard Nick speak at the Gladiator Summit in Dubai, and when I later learned he had moved here, I knew I had to bring him into our school.”
The Arcadia Apollo Theatre as a Community Hub
A central highlight of the development is the Arcadia Apollo Theatre, a purpose-built 1,200-seat auditorium spanning 50,938 square metres. The venue features a large entrance lobby, a 14 metre by 7 metre LED screen, world-class technology, an orchestra pit and Black Box practice facilities.
Designed to support academic, artistic and co-curricular programmes, the theatre will host a wide range of activities including theatrical productions, musical performances, guest lectures, live screened sports events and wider community gatherings. The auditorium is positioned as a central hub for creativity, collaboration and student leadership.
The inauguration ceremony also included a performance of the UAE National Anthem by the student choir, followed by welcome remarks from the school’s Head Boy and Head Girl.
