Over 100 new test centres for the Emirates Standard Test (EmSAT) will be opened, taking the total number to 240, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced. The goal is to accommodate more students for the test while also making the registration process easier.
The EmSAT, a national system of standardised computer-based tests, measure the knowledge and skills of Grade 12 students as they conclude their general education and move on to higher education. They supply data to college admissions and placement decision-makers.
The new centres will be scattered across the country and ready to deliver services by the end of this month. Authorities expressed their desire to provide students with the necessary assistance in taking the EmSAT test, which is required for students to enrol in higher education institutions in the UAE.

It is the student’s responsibility to determine the location and time of the EmSAT test and they are encouraged to register for available sessions in centres near their homes or in their emirates. The test is mandatory for all Emirati and non-Emiratis in Grades 12 and pertains to all public and private schools that teach the MoE’s curriculum and the private international curriculum.
