Aldar Education has partnered exclusively with the prestigious King’s College School Wimbledon to launch its first regional campus in the UAE. Set to open in September 2028, King’s College School Abu Dhabi will be a super-premium K–12 institution, located on the master-planned Fahid Island.
The school will accommodate up to 2,220 students, offering an academically rigorous and values-based education inspired by King’s globally renowned standards. The project supports Abu Dhabi’s vision to become a leading regional hub for educational excellence.
A Landmark Campus Combining Innovation and Wellbeing
Spanning 50,000 sqm, the new campus will feature state-of-the-art academic facilities, advanced sports infrastructure, and dedicated spaces for student wellness. Designed to complement the natural and balanced lifestyle of Fahid Island, the school will prioritise both academic achievement and personal development.
“We are proud to announce the first King’s College School Wimbledon to Abu Dhabi, a milestone that reflects Aldar’s fast-growing education portfolio and commitment to educational excellence,” said Talal Al Dhiyebi, Group CEO at Aldar.
“This school will further strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a global centre for talent development.”

King’s College School Brings UK Legacy to UAE
King’s College School Wimbledon is one of the UK’s most distinguished independent institutions, recognised for its rich heritage, exceptional academics, and holistic approach to education. The new Abu Dhabi campus will follow this legacy, preparing students for leading universities and life beyond school.
“King’s College School Wimbledon is globally recognised for its ability to nurture well-rounded individuals equipped with the confidence, compassion and critical thinking skills to thrive,” said Sahar Cooper, CEO of Aldar Education.
“The school’s holistic approach will add a new dimension to Aldar Education’s offering and support Abu Dhabi’s vision for educational excellence.”
