Citizens School, a school that is reimagining a more future relevant education experience, announced today the opening of Citizens Social Gym, a first-of-its-kind community wellness centre.
The new fitness and wellbeing centre is located inside Citizens School, a purpose-built facility thoughtfully curated to provide world-class learning and community spaces. The reimagined wellness facility is the ideal space for content creators looking to raise awareness on the importance of physical health. Located in City Walk, the centre serves communities across Jumeirah 1 and Al Wasl.
The launch of Citizens Social Gym is part of Citizens’ wider vision to contribute to a globally recognised future learning framework, enabling learners to thrive and enjoy a better quality of life in the future.
Citizens Social Gym will be open to the public serving communities surrounding Al Wasl, Jumeirah 1 and Al Satwa and open every day from 6 am – 10 pm
This announcement is another example of Citizens School pushing the boundaries of education. Last year, it became the first school in the Middle East to accept cryptocurrency as a mode of payment for tuition fees.

The gym is located inside Citizens School and is home to a new sports café
The gym has its own entrance, allocated parking spaces, sports café and is fitted out with state-of-the-art equipment suitable for all levels of ability. In addition, the local community will also have access to a variety of wellness products.
