The Ripe Market, Academy Park, will come alive with rhythm, creativity and community spirit this November as British Dance Academy presents two exciting dance in Dubai events. Taking place on Friday, 22 November and Friday, 29 November, visitors can look forward to an afternoon filled with movement, music and artistic inspiration.
Hip-Hop Workshops for All Ages
From 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM, the Hip-Hop Workshops will take centre stage, offering free dance workshops in Dubai that are open to all ages and abilities. Led by British Dance Academy’s talented teachers, these engaging sessions introduce participants to the fundamentals of hip hop through dynamic warm ups, isolations and beginner friendly choreography. Each workshop encourages confidence, creativity and self expression, making it the perfect activity for families and dance enthusiasts alike.
Winter Student Performances
Following the workshops, from 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM, audiences will be treated to the annual Winter Student Performances, celebrating the achievements of British Dance Academy’s talented students. These dance performances in Dubai will feature a captivating mix of styles including ballet, hip hop, acrodance, musical theatre dance, jazz, lyrical and pointe. Each performance showcases the dedication, skill and artistry of the academy’s young dancers, who have trained passionately under the guidance of their expert teachers.
Celebrating Local Talent and Community Spirit
The Winter Student Performances have become a cherished highlight of the season, uniting families, friends and the wider community to celebrate local talent. Each routine reflects the students’ growth, commitment and love for the art of dance, nurtured by the support and encouragement of the British Dance Academy teaching team.

Event Details
