Brighton College Abu Dhabi Sixth Formers Achieve Outstanding A-Level Results

Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupils have once again achieved outstanding A Level results and have bettered the grades achieved in 2019, with more than half of the college’s pupils achieving A* to A grades and 73.7% securing A* to B grades in this year’s examinations.

Even more important than the raw grades, the value-added score that pupils have achieved this year is (+0.819), which yet again reflects the excellence of the school’s exceptional teaching. This year’s outstanding results mean that, on average, a Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupil gains almost a grade above statistical expectations, and the results enable pupils to progress to the best universities around the world.

The College’s Head Pupil, Ashna Chaturvedi has been accepted by Oxford University to study Law and for the first time ever, two Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupils, Rand Farhan and Parineeta Gupta, will go on to study Dentistry at the University of Leeds and the University of Liverpool in the UK.

After continual hard work and dedication from Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupils who have overcome two years of disruption and uncertainty, along with the incredible support from the College’s exceptional staff, a quarter (25.7%) of all grades achieved by pupils this year are A*, more than half (53.1%) of all grades achieved are A* to A grades, 73.7% of grades are A* to B and 97.8% of the grades achieved are A* to C. Brighton College Abu Dhabi is extremely proud of the hard work and diligence of its UAE national pupils who have achieved a fantastic 83% A* to B grades.

For the first time in the College’s history, two pupils will go on to study Dentistry at the University of Leeds and the University of Liverpool
