Bridge Education, one of the UAE’s leading K–12 education operators, has announced the opening of Ambassador International Academy Mankhool, a new premium International Baccalaureate* school in Dubai, scheduled to open in August 2026.
Located in Mankhool, Bur Dubai, the school will be the first dedicated IB* school in the district and will initially welcome students from Pre-KG to Grade 8, with a phased year-on-year expansion through to Grade 12.
Serving Families Across Central Dubai
The purpose-built campus is designed to support families living across central Dubai, including Downtown Dubai, City Walk, La Mer, Pearl Jumeirah, Meydan, Dubai Creek Harbour, Dubai Islands and Bur Dubai. Its central location offers convenient access to IB* education within a well-established residential community.

International Baccalaureate Curriculum and Future-Ready Learning
AIA Mankhool will deliver the globally recognised International Baccalaureate* curriculum, with a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking and global citizenship. The school plans to expand annually to offer the full IB Continuum, including the IB Diploma Programme and the Career-related Programme.
Future-ready learning will be embedded across the curriculum, with a focus on digital literacy, coding, artificial intelligence, innovation and entrepreneurship. Students will also benefit from collaborations with global higher education institutions, offering exposure to real-world applications and emerging technologies.
Founding Principal Appointment
Ruth Burke has been appointed Founding Principal of Ambassador International Academy Mankhool. She brings more than 30 years of experience across leading schools in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the UAE. Her previous leadership roles include Swiss School Dubai, Deira International School, GEMS Wellington International School and Jumeirah English Speaking School.

Purpose-Built Campus and Facilities
The campus spans approximately 400,000 square feet and will feature specialist science and innovation laboratories, technology-enabled classrooms, advanced STEAM facilities, sports amenities and performing arts spaces. Its location next to Mankhool Park and close to Zabeel Park further supports outdoor learning, physical education and student wellbeing.
Expanding Bridge Education’s UAE Portfolio
Ambassador International Academy Mankhool will become the fourth school operated by Bridge Education in the UAE, joining Ambassador School Dubai, Ambassador School Sharjah and Ambassador International Academy Al Khail. Schools within the group have previously been recognised by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority for Outstanding Parent Relationships.
