Its founder, Emma Burdett, has joined the International Advisory Board and Leadership Faculty at Nova Business School Africa (NBSA). This appointment marks the executive search firm’s expansion into Africa and reinforces its commitment to championing female leadership worldwide.

Nova Business School Africa: A Hub for Innovation and Leadership

NBSA is redefining business education across the continent. With a focus on real-world learning and entrepreneurial thinking, the institution empowers African leaders to drive innovation, transformation, and inclusive growth. Its programmes blend academic rigour with purpose-driven outcomes, making it a natural partner for WILD Talent’s mission.

Emma Burdett’s Vision for Women in Africa

Emma Burdett will bring industry expertise and global leadership experience to the NBSA board. She will also deliver executive coaching and leadership training as part of the faculty. Her involvement will focus on bridging industry and academia, strengthening leadership pipelines, and championing gender diversity across Africa’s business landscape.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve held a vision close to my heart: to support the education and advancement of young women in Africa,” says Emma Burdett. “That vision is now a reality. I’m honoured to join the Advisory Board of Nova Business School Africa and contribute to building a world-class institution that empowers the next generation of conscious, purpose-led African leaders.”

Bridging Industry and Academia

In her dual role, Emma will help shape the school’s curriculum and build strategic partnerships with global industries. She will also support mentorship initiatives and create programmes that develop leadership, confidence, and long-term impact—especially for emerging female talent.
