Renaissance Partners with UAE Social Media Star

by Eddie Rayner

Renaissance, which creates educational software tools to improve outcomes and accelerate learning, has announced a unique partnership with UAE-based TikTok and YouTube star Thomas Blakemore.

Blakemore, a 27-year-old from the UK, has become a social media sensation after launching his platforms on life as a school teacher in Dubai. He has 64,000 followers across his social media channels and is growing fast in popularity with students and the UAE’s wider school community.

The collaboration with Blakemore will see Renaissance work with him on sponsored social media content that will help build brand presence in the UAE and connect with online audiences interested in its learning solutions.

“We have a well-established presence in the UAE and through this partnership we are looking to elevate our connection with online audiences so they have a deeper understanding of the benefits we can bring to students and education providers in the UAE,” said Sarah DiFrancesco, Chief Marketing Officer for Renaissance.

“It’s a partnership we are extremely excited about and we are proud to be working closely with Thomas whose experiences as a teacher in the UAE are so compelling. Not only does he have a wide fan base, but the content he is producing is very personal and engaging. We can’t wait to get started with him and showcase the value Renaissance can bring to the lives of students as well.”

Renaissance solutions provide real-time, accurate assessment and practice data plotting students’ progression with literacy and numeracy skills, aligned to UK or US curriculums. The solutions help reduce teachers’ workload by providing personalised learning pathways for every student, focused on the essential skills required to progress at each stage of formal education.

“Renaissance learning’s edtech resources are highly commended amongst colleagues and I’m excited to share the impact they can have in children’s learning as their network grows throughout the UAE,” said Thomas Blakemore, who teaches at Kent College in Dubai.
