Monica Valrani, Directress and CEO of Ladybird Nursery says, “The parents and children are enjoying the various activities and videos shared during this period of distance learning. They have appreciated all the hard work teachers have put into personalising the learning as well.”
Valrani adds, “We have been asking parents to share videos of their children performing the activities for their friends to see. This has greatly helped as a lot of the children miss their friends and struggle to understand why they cannot see their friends and teachers.”
“We have advised parents to keep taking short breaks and be flexible with their schedules in order to support Ladybird’s early learners to engage in the visual learning and enhance their concentration during the day,” concludes Valrani.
A Ladybird parent shares her feedback to the nursery after the first week of distance learning, “I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the hard work you have done to get such a great online learning course up and running. We are really enjoying it, and I know it took a lot of effort to put it all together. Ladybird has really gone above and beyond to provide great teaching materials during this incredibly difficult time. Congrats to you, and stay safe!”
