Fortes Education, one of UAE’s leading education providers for more than 30 years, announced a set of relief measures to support families in the Covid-19 global crisis. Its Dubai schools, Sunmarke School, located at JVT, and Regent International School, at Emaar’s The Greens, will offer all families a 25% discount in Term 3 tuition fees in Foundation Stages 1 and 2 and a 20% discount in Years 1 to 13.
“We have been offering parents a Fortes Relief Package comprising a discount. We understand the financial difficulties our parents are facing. We have heard our parents and have heeded their call. We are offering financial support to include a discount to Term 3 Tuition Fees for all parents of Fortes Education’s schools, Sunmarke School and Regent International School,” said Dr. Neil Hopkin, Principal of Sunmarke School.
The schools, judged ‘Outstanding’ (by the British School Overseas inspection authority) and ‘Very Good (by KHDA), stand committed to helping all its families through this crisis while delivering an outstanding virtual education through live, interactive and challenging online lessons.
“I, along with my team, have been engaged in many conversations over the last week with parents experiencing financial difficulties. It has taken time to understand the unique complexity of each parent’s individual situation, and also to digest and plan contingencies considering the enormity of the emergency and financial stress caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. We deeply value our parent community and want to reassure parents that we have and continue to hear them, although our response time may not have been to their expectation,” said Mrs. Gaynor Dale, Principal of Regent International School.
Furthermore, the discount also covers new enrolments. For families who have already paid their Tuition Fees, the discount will be deducted from Term 1 of the next academic year. For families who have not paid their Term 3 fees (including new Term 3 enrolments), half the discount will be deducted with the Term 3 Fees and half with the Term 1 Fees of the next academic year. This applies to both the schools.
