The Taaleem family of schools is pleased to announce that Rebecca Coulter is joining Dubai British School Jumeirah Park (DBSJP) as Vice Principal from September 2020.
Rebecca is a University of Cambridge graduate with a UK teaching qualification and also has an Honours degree in Music which reflects her lifelong passion for The Expressive Arts. She holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and is a certified trainer for middle and senior leadership development. Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is renowned for an incredible Expressive Arts programme, including the partnership with DPA, and Rebecca brings another dimension to the school’s reputation in this area.
She began her teaching career in the United Kingdom as Head of Music at schools in Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells in the south of England. Following a relocation to Norfolk with her family, Rebecca took up the post of Assistant Principal: Director of Sixth Form with the ‘Inspiration Trust’. Under her leadership, Sixth Form provision improved rapidly and significantly, gaining recognition as one of the top performing Sixth Forms for progress in the UK.
After relocating to Dubai and prior to joining Jumeirah College as Vice Principal, Rebecca was initially Assistant Principal in the Kings’ School Group. At Kings’ she led the pastoral system, held responsibility for the whole school improvement agenda and the quality assurance of student attainment.
As Vice Principal of a flagship UK Curriculum School, Rebecca was an integral part of the leadership team that led Jumeirah College through ‘Outstanding’ KHDA Inspections.
She joins Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, established in 2015 to work with Executive Principal Brendon Fulton who oversees the ‘Outstanding’ rated Dubai British School Emirates Hills as well as Dubai British Foundation and Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, which have both recently performed to an exceptional standard in local and international inspections.
