The UAE’s leading higher education institution, and the only entrepreneurship-oriented university, has announced that it will offer a financial bursary for UAE’s frontline workers and their immediate families who intend to begin their higher education journey. Medical field professionals and their families are eligible to receive a flat 50% off on the tuition fee as a token of appreciation for all the resilience portrayed during the pandemic. Along with this, the university has made a formal announcement to offer financial aid to all vaccinated residents who are hoping to earn a degree/diploma. All vaccinated students will receive 30%-50% of the financial bursary, depending on the chosen programme.
Through this new initiative, Capital aims to instil a sense of responsibility and commend the medical heroes who have showcased extraordinary courage while combating the novel coronavirus. The higher education institution acknowledges and supports its efforts by granting a bursary worth up to AED 15,000. Ranging from undergraduate programmes to doctorate, vaccinated individuals can simply present their vaccine card to avail themselves of this offer. Capital, known for its business and design programmes, is also looking at alternative schemes that will further recognise the efforts of medical experts and encourage the vaccination programme in the UAE.
