The month of April is also known as World Autism Month. The 14th annual autism awareness campaign for Dubai was launched on World Autism Awareness Day. Organised annually by the Dubai Autism Centre, the campaign highlights the importance of community support to promote social inclusion and integration of individuals with autism.
The campaign, which includes several presentations across schools and public departments, aims to increase public awareness and a better understanding of the various challenges related to individuals with autism and how early intervention is important.
