Brighton College Abu Dhabi has once again raised the bar for academic achievement, celebrating record-breaking GCSE results in 2025. Over half of all exam entries (54%) were awarded Grades 9–8, with 30% of entries receiving the top Grade 9.

This year’s performance highlights the College’s continued commitment to academic excellence, with 72% of all entries at Grades 9–7 (A*–A equivalent), 87% at Grades 9–6, and an impressive 96% at Grades 9–5. The top Grade 9 was the most common grade awarded, reflecting the ambition and dedication of the school’s pupils.
Subject Highlights and Standout Successes
Academic excellence shone across multiple subjects. Nearly three-quarters of separate science entries (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) achieved Grades 9–8, while 91% of Further Mathematics grades were at the highest levels. Geography pupils also excelled, with over three-quarters achieving Grades 9–8.
A remarkable 13 pupils achieved a full set of Grades 9–8. Among them, two pupils earned a perfect clean sweep of Grade 9s:
- Vivasvan Kaushik – 10 Grade 9s
- Aryaa Sahoo – 10 Grade 9s
Other notable achievers include:
- Nahed Bdewi – 10 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 7
- Utsaah Arpit Palan – 9 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s
- Kacia Shiya Huang – 9 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 8
